We are working on a project that reflects our excitement about artificial intelligence, music information retrieval, metaverse and the study of music technology.
Our goal is to create a machine that can help music producers and people interested in technology.
Music Machine is a web application that will continuously create songs, play, and mix music. There will be a possibility to change its direction based on criteria from the external world.
At this moment, we have succesfully finished first phase, where we created a 3D model to get the first feeling of it. In the next phase,we will further develop the model and create a sound engine with more advanced features (random music generator, sound input, music render).

Collaboration between Music Machine and artists
Artists as creators will be able to feed the machine with sounds. In that way Music Machine will generate music endlessly. In exchange, the music machine will generate melodies, patterns, new - recreated sounds and melodies, which artists can download and use in their production process.
A tool for learning music and programming
Music Machine will teach people how to use programming languages, showing examples from itself. It is an interactive way of understanding what is behind the user interface.
Another part of the learning process will include a real-time example of making music, creating melodies or patterns.
Interaction with the outside world
Music machines will change the character or mood of created songs by parameters like what weather is outside, temperature, what music artists like and many others.
Part of a metaverse
The machine will more likely be implemented into a metaverse and live on it's own.
Music Machine in daily usage
Thanks to the endless playing of music generated by Music Machine, we can listen to it any time online, as we listen to the radio or stream music. We will listen to it from a mobile phone or web browser.
There is potential for Music Machine to be part of an interactive installation in a gallery or be an installation itself.
